THANKS!!! - to all kind souls for the information about where folks
were apt to depart from if they lived in Dumfriesshire in early 1800's.
Also, for OPR records info pre 1840's. Another history and geography
lesson which leads to more understanding of Scotland and its people, and
hopefully will help in continuing search for ancestors!
Don't forget - the offer still stands to do lookups for anyone that had
Scots ancestors emigrating to Canada before Confederation in 1867.
