Seeking information on Family History
William White and Jemima White (nee Chron)
Son: Matthew Chron White

I am currently trying to research my family history.

My Great, Great, Great Grandfather : William White (locksmith)
Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
My Great, Great, Great Grandmother: Jemima Chron
My Great, Great Grandfather : Matthew Chron White, 1830-1904
My Great, Great Grandmother: Margaret Bruce Geddes (Schoolteacher)(Died
Warialda 1878)

Matthew and Margaret married in Moree, NSW, AUSTRALIA in 1856.
Had 12 children, all born in Warialda; Louisa J (deceased 1866), Anna L
(deceased 1869), Margaret J (born 1857), Janet B (born 1859), William C
(born 1861), Laura CJ (born 1862), Eva G (born 1864), Matthew J (born
1866), Laura A (born 1868), Mary Christian (born 1870), Sinclair Manson
(born 1872), Victoria Bruce (born 1874).

The second youngest was my great grandfather; Sinclair Manson White; born
1872 in Warialda, died 17 June 1911 Stanthorpe from spinal injuries.

Matthew then married Emma Harvey and raised another family.

I am really trying to find information on Matthew and his parents. I am
very interested in information on the extended family and where they were
from and what they did. Information I received from Bingara/Warialda
Libraries is that they came out to Australia about 1840 from Dumfriesshire,
Scotland and that they had settled in Windsor, Australia. I do not know if
there were any brothers and sisters and where they may have journeyed.
Matthew arrived in Warialda in the early 1850's, with him being appointed
pound-keeper March 1852. He later became inn-keeper and post master.
