Dear Listers

I am especially interested in learning more about Thomas
BORTHWICK and Mary TAIT who married on 8 January 1796, in
Closeburn, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.

I believe that knowing Thomas Borthwick's ancestry will help
me to trace my own family in Scotland.

Does anyone know anything at all about this couple, or even
about Borthwicks in Closeburn?

Any advice or information would be appreciated.
