Hello Pamela,

Yes DGNHAS is still an active group. They have a website where you can find
all the contact addresses and details of publications and how to order. Some
early editions of the Transaction (their published Journal) are no longer in
print but I'm sure they offer a photocopy service.

Re- Glasgow Street
Very few of the original buildings are left. Apart from the corner where the
D&GFHS'shop' stands is about all there is on the west side. The east side by
the river is totally gone. Somebody with handy access to a Dumfries
Directory maybe able to help (probably one of the three Ian's would know).

Regards,
Sandy (in a sunny Dumfries full of Spring Blossom)
