That's helpful, if disappointing. But see below*

Still, for the limited area of Annan I have the 1801, 1811, 1821
Census accounts drawn up by the schoolmaster Richard Forest,
and edited for SRS publication in 1975 by George Gilchrist. So I
can do lookups if this will help anyone.

*In his introduction, Gilchrist notes that the Scottish Record Office
holds transcripts of similar census lists for the parish of Lochrutton,
Kirkcudbrightshire, for the 1821 and 1831 Censuses, though they
only note heads of household. He adds that the originals are
among the Lochrutton Kirk Session Records.
