Subject: [D-G LIST] Question about Provost of Burgh of Kirkcudbright

William Ireland was elected Provost of Burgh of Kirkcudbright in 1799..and
again 1803, 07, and 1813. Does this mean he was a person very involved in the
trades of Kirkcudbright, and is it possible to find records of what his
