Hi List,
can someone give me some help or advice,as to which way to go next.This is
what I have:
GEORGE HALLIDAY mrd. MARGARET ROBISON IN 1808 in Lochmaben Dumfries.
I can only find 2 children from the marriage ,1 of whom was my gx2 g/fthr
also GEORGE, he died 1886 in Moffat. The other was MARGARET but I can't trace
her.


On his marriage cert. in 1872 his parents were not marked as deceased, so a
friend tried to find their deaths at Edinburgh last week between 1872 &1886
with no luck.

Is there a census available for Lochmaben? Does anyone have it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
