Hi Ann,
You might consider writing to the archivist at the Borthwick
Institute for Historical Research, which is now a part of the University
of York in England. I've no idea where their name came from, and only know
of the Institute as it's in my home town, and it may be obvious anyway,
but that's my two cents worth!
