Dear Donald,

I too had a look on Scottish Origins about the 1901 Census but it doesn't
seem to be ready yet. All the advice states that it will be ready in January
2002, but no exact date has been given. The England and Wales 1901 Census is
available through the PRO Website (www.pro.gov.uk) but everyone is having
real problems connecting and when I tried the message was that the site was
temporarily unavailable due to heavy demand. I would recommend waiting until
the initial demand has died down. I visit the Scottish Origins site at least
once a week so will keep my eyes open.
