Hello to the list -

I'm confused about Scottish census - can someone please help with an explanation? I ordered 1841 census booklets from DGHS for the area I thought I would find my family in - no such luck! I have the following booklets:

County of Dumfries, Parish of Glencairn (excluding Minnihive [Moniave])
County of Dumfries, Minnihive (Moniave)
County of Wigtown, Parish of Penninghame

If I have a letter dated 1837 and the person was living at Drumterlie Cottage and another letter dated 1849 and the person was living at Ingleston - where might I look to find her - Mary Wilson?

Also, is there a complete listing of the 1841 Census so you don't have to order separate booklets and find the ancestor isn't listed and then wait to order another booklet?
