Hi

My name is Lynda & I have joined you today.

I have managed, via the net to find my family name back to my Great Great Grandfather (Greenock area) but there are one or two holes to fill in.


My Grandparents lived at Johnstonbridge, his forename was Mathew and my grandmother was known I think, as Anna Mckenzie McMurrich. (her maiden name was Carmichael) I'm not quite sure where the name McKenzie comes in. She was born at Stornaway,

Mathew was a GP.

I am not sure of the period, but my father was born there in 1918.

I would be so interested to find any information on the family, as I cannot, because of the year (75 year rule) find out the date of his death, and how my Grandmother's name would have appeared on the certificate.
