Hi List,

I have just joined and am researching Munsie family of Lochrutton, also Welsh families of Irongray.
My great great grand parents were John Munsie(originally of Penpont) and he married Nickless Welsh of Irongray.
This family, plus their eight children came to Australia aboard "The Hero of Malown" in 1838/1839.
Any information on these two families prior to this date would be very much appreciated
