It hasn't been publicised (for obvious reasons) but the 1901 Census site is
being tested on the web at http://www.census.pro.gov.uk/.

Access is controlled, so you may need to make several attempts to log on.
Particularly if you all try today!!

The index provides - name; age; where born; admin county; civil parish and
occupation and it is free.

So far, I have only viewed the index. I understand that it is a bit flaky
when you try to enter credit card details to access detailed information,
but at least it is a start!
