Looking for more information on the following George Johnstone who married Grizel Irving. George had three wives fathering a total of 19 children. So far, we have some info on Grizel/Grace.

1. GEORGE2 JOHNSTONE (JOHNSTONE1) was born Abt. 1737 in Axletreewell Farm , Ecclefechan, Dumfries, Scotland, and died May 12, 1817 in (age 80) Axletreewell (on tombstone) , Ecclefechan, Dumfries, Scotland. He married GRIZEL/GRACE IRVING, daughter of WILLIAM? and Janet? IRVING. She was born Abt. 1749 in Scotland, and died October 10, 1800 in (age 51) Scotland.

"Dr. William Johnston, MD was the son of George Johnstone of Axeltree Well Farm, Ecclefechan, Dumfries shire, Scotland.

Burial: Hoddam Parish Cemetery just 1 mi. north of Ecclefechan, Scotland;
