Hi Janet
MC is usually Military Cross. It can also be Master of Ceremonies but I
cannot imagine that being on a headstone. MRCVS is Member of the Royal
College of Veterinary Surgeons.

I have been fortunate to find family in Monumental Inscriptions Volume 7 but
I need some help with a couple of abbreviations. Can someone please
help...? These particular abbreviations are not covered in the front of the
book.

Andrew Warnock, MC........ what does MC stand for...?

Robert McNae, MRCVS....... what does MRCVS stand for....?
