Hello Mary,
While Jim Mercer's brilliant suggestion certainly helped a lot by cutting
down the number of pages that needed careful checking, I agree with you that
it would be helpful to be able to search by household number.
In any event, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank hugely the Friends
of the Archives of Dumfries and Galloway and the other volunteers for the
remarkable resource they have provided.
