Greetings All,

My McMurray family is from Tongland. John McMurray b. 1801 died unknown, married (Abt 1825 Borgue) Isabella Shaw b. 1806 Tongland d. December 12, 1883 in Dundrennan Village.

I am researching the parents and siblings of John b. 1801 in particular, and would welcome any information! I have the names and some details about John and Isabella's children (two of whom emigrated from Scotland to Canada - William Henry McMurray b. 1832 and Sarah McMurray b. 1835); their grandchildren (two emigrated to Wisconsin Canada, James McMurray b. 1871 Balmaghie, and David b. 1879 Tongland, and one to South Africa, William Alexander b.1866 - my g g grandfather). I would be happy to share the history I have.
