Dear Jennie
Just found your message. My Mother's maiden name was CANDISH. I have done quite a lot of research into her family. My Great Great Grandfather, Joseph Candish, was born in Surrey, England in 1800 and migrated to Australia in 1833.
Could there be any connection to your family?
