Samuel Cahoon was born in Scotland in 1639 and I believe that William (husband of Deliverance) was born in 1635. Therefore this Samuel (father of Robert--my GGGGG Grandfather) could not be Williams son. I have found that William did have a son named Samuel, but he was not the one who lived in Tyrrell County NC. Samuel came to America from Dunbarton Scotland and lived and died in Nansemond County (now Suffolk) VA.
