Subject: James BROWN and Agnes DUNN marriage

I have been searching for a marriage record for my gggrandparents, James BROWN and Agnes MARTIN, who according to the IGI were married on Dec. 31, 1863 in Kirkintilloch, Dunbartonshire. I've searched the GRO to no avail, although I have found and received the birth certificate of one of their daughters, my ggrandmother. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might proceed? I need to find extended families for both, as my husband and I are planning a trip to the area in a few years and would like to meet some relatives.
