I have a book of Tombstone Inscriptions of the Old Kilpatrick Parish Church
which contains a number of Filshie names.
If you go to Rootsweb and search the Dunbartonshire List Archives for
FILSHIE in the year 2001, you'll find some of the correspondence we had then
on this name.There is someone else researching the name too.
There is an Inscription for a John Filshie who died in San Francisco,but I
don't think it's yours,
