Hello Dunbarton List,

I recently received a copy of the 1797 will of William Fergus (my ggggg Grandfather) of Kirkintilloch b. 1728 d. before 1808. He was married to Marion Rennie. Evidently William was a wealthy merchant in Kirkintilloch and owned tracts of land, a house, tenements and so on. The home was located near the Cross of the Kirkintilloch. Can anyone identify what the Cross of the Kirkintilloch refers to?
