Have gotten one of the 1855 Birth lookups done, am posting the results
here. Lorna, here are your CAMPBELLS and McKELLARs. MegG in OK.

James CAMPBELL wasn't born in 1855, he was born most likely in 1854, so
the registration isn't in this film. The IGI entry for his birth in
Milbrae, Roseneath was a Patron Submission, they probably guessed his
birth year as 1855 by using census hits and back-calculating. If you'd
like to see who submitted his name and what the relation was, order this
film from any FHC - Patron Submission film #471864, see page 64 or
ordinance #65086. It was submitted in Arizona, USA.

Christina McKELLAR born Roseneath entry #7 on June 15, 1855 at Annfield
House, Kilcraiggan to John McKELLAR, Joiner, 30y born Duke of Argyll's
Office & Mary McKELLAR ms FERGUSON, 27y born Kilniniver? Argyllshire,
they wed 1850, 21 Oct at Pollockshaws and had 2 girls now living, 1 boy
deceased. Informant was the father who was present at the birth.
Registered Roseneath June 24, John Dodds, Registrar.

Donald Robertson McKELLAR was born July 26, 9:45pm at Knockderry,
Roseneath [entry #11] to John McKELLAR, Labourer, 28y born Lettie? & Mary
McKELLAR ms ROBERTSON, 28y, this was her 1st child, she was born Appin,
Argyllshire. They wed 6 Sept, 1845 in Garolach head? Informant was the
father who was present at the birth. Registered Roseneath Aug 4. John
Dodds, Registrar.

Roseneath had another CAMPBELL, entry #18 - John McLeod CAMPBELL born Nov
19, 11pm at Craigellan to John McLeod CAMPBELL, Steam Boat Master, 40y
born Dunnaid? Parish of Row & Mary CAMPBELL ms JENKINS, this was her 5th
child, 33y born Nucondon? Kirkconnel. They wed June 16, 1846 at Nucondon?
Kirkconnel, they had 2 boys and 1 girl living, 1 girl deceased. Informant
was the father, who was not present at the birth. Registered Roseneath,
29 Nov. John Dodds, Registrar.

Found one McKELLAR death -
Roseneath #18 - Mary McKELLAR, 48y born Glasgow, Rope Work Lane, lived
Roseneath only 3 months. Parents - John McCALLUM, Dyer deceased &
Isabella McCALLUM ms McLEOD. She wed David McKELLAR, Bookkeeper deceased.
They had the following children : 5 with no names all died infancy.
Donald McKELLAR, now 19y. John McKELLAR, now 15y. Peter McKELLAR, now 8y.
Mary died Aug 21, 1855, 3am at Rahean, Gareloch of Disease of the Heart
of long standing. No medical attendant. Buried North St, Anderston
Glasgow certified by Wm Scott for Wylie & Lochhead? Undertakers.
Informant was a son, Donald McKELLAR. Registered at Roseneath Aug 25.
