Hello fellow historians

My name is Wendy and this is my first message to the list of Durham-Northumberland.

My G-G-Grandfather ROBERT BARKER has been recorded on a baptism of his son Robert in 1826
as being Gamekeeper at Carr House at Seaham Harbour.

I have found on an Ordinance Survey map Carr House and was wondering if anyone knows of records
where there might be listings of employees to large estates.

Robert Barker Senior had died by 1837 and I don't know if maybe it was an accident on the property.
