A very kind Australian gentleman, knowing my interest in the GENT family
of Northumberland, came across an entry in the 1851 index for the
district of Seghill, Backworth, Burradon and Earsdon - Jane GENT, widow,
aged 68, born Gosforth. She is shown as a 'visitor'.

Now, I've no idea who she might be visiting in that area. I've no idea how
large the district is (I'm thinking of ordering the film through the LDS) so
would it be a difficult matter to locate Jane?
