1. Looking for Information on the above Subject Gentleman
and early employees.

2. I was informed by a distant relative "Miss Dorothy Robson
(Spinster School Teacher)" late of "The Cottage", Callerton
Hall, PONTELAND that several of the Robson's of the 1800's
were employed by Lord Armstrong. Miss Robson died at the age
of 99 abt 1991.

3. On a visit to the area in 1986 Dorothy squired my wife
and I to a home occupied by a Mrs Brown & family where my
GGF Thomas Cuthbert Robson including family members,
including my GF William Edward Robson had lived prior to
immigrating to Canada in the latter 1800's.
Mrs Brown confirmed that the home had been owned by Robson's
prior to her husband's family acquiring it.

4. Dorothy also pointed out a Cottage on the former
(Armstrong
Estate), I make the assumption former, as it may have been
sold, where she as a young lady had grown up herself.

5. Personal friends of Dorothy in her later years were Fred
& Gladys Bradbury (spelling) of Darras Hall, PONTELAND
across the road from Callerton Hall. Does anyone know of
them? At the time Fred was CEO of BENDIX Manuf. etc. I
believe.

6. Hopefully SKS will have some knowledge on these requests
