I have seen info that when Abram Duren died he left a widow and children. George Frank and L D (Leondas Dixon) moved to Alabama. L D was a tailor that lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He enlisted in the 2nd Alabama light artillery in the War of Northern Agression. He died at home in Northport from illness in 1863. This info is from his muster cards. LD's son. James was born in 1844. In a 1907 Alabama Confederate Census he states he fought in the 26th Alabama infantry. I can find no record of this. I have however found muster card for him with Freeman's Company of Alabama Prison Guards. James A had a son SL (Square). SL had a daughter Etta Elizabeth who was my grandmother
