I need info on this man. Reported born in TN (according to census). He was married to Minnie Bryant and had a child in Carterville, Jasper Co. MO in 1902.
I do not know when Minnie died, but the child,Octa Merle was small. They lived in CA and TX and OK. He moved on to AR after Octa married.Second wife was Rachel ?
Richard had possibly 3 sisters. The name of one was Mattie She married W.H. Pinkerton in 1888 in Jackson Co.,AR. She ran a Hotel/Boarding house near Clarksville,TX for many years and was known as Mrs. Pink.
Octa was my grandmother, and this is all I know of her family. Can anyone help me??
