Mentions Henllan Amgoed and Laugharne.

These are name related items extracted from the article.
In 1752/3 Morgan rents a tenement called Gwaintre beddau [Laugharne ?] for
£9 from Anne Parry whose receipt is a very shaky 'A'.
In 1755, he expends on his servant James Howell [in
Laugharne]...............[a list of clothing items]
Morgan "made many purchases from a Mr John Whitehead, a general merchant who
sold everything from turf, oatmeal, flour, and hops to medicines like
rhubarb powders". There then immediately follows a list of items he bought
"at Carmarthen in 1750, it is implied from Whitehead.
In 1750 he attended a sale at Gellidywyll, implied to be when he was at
Henllan Amgoed, the items bought include a feather bed, bolster, 2 pillows
for blankets for £2.8s.2 1/2d.That was the year he married his first wife.
In 1750 again, there is what looks like a list of "biddings"-or wedding
gifts, the entries give the names of ; Damaris James, one large cheese ;
Mary Thomas, Llanboidy, three bottles of wine; Richard Evan's daughter, six
small chickens ; and Richard ye turner, six trenchers.
In 1750/1, he subscribed to several magazines and newspapers for which he
paid a Mr Llewelin various sums, again the date implies he was in Henllan
Amgoed.

>From 1752 to 1760, the Morgans were living in Laugharne where their son
Thomas was born [ in 1752]. They moved to Yorkshire in 1764, Thomas snr died
at Morley in 1799. The son, Thomas, was educated at Leeds Grammar School,
was minister at Abingdon and various churches in London, became librarian at
Dr Williams Library in 1804, died in 1821.
