Dear Penny

I think Cwmtrubigh is Cwmtriwbit. It is referred to in "Hanes Brynaman"
(the History of Brynamman) by Enoch Rees (1896). The reference is as follows:

"1832-1843 This year David Williams, Cwmgarw, (Uncle David) kept a school
once again in an old cottage in front of Cwmteg, above Cwmtriwbit, an old
house called Dollgraig, the remains of which can be seen to this day on the
edge of the Amman."

I'm afraid I don't know the area well enough to identify it - perhaps the
experts can help

Best wishes

Anna
