Hello Pat,
That's the problem, his christian name was Daniel, his surname was either
Jones or Lewis, and you know how many of those there are in S Wales. I have
his
date and place of birth but that is all, still pestering my aunt for
details, I don't even have the names/ relationship of the people who
brought him up as a Jones. I couldn't find him on the 1881 census, think he
may have been in a cupboard, it was such a close kept secret he only
confessed about 6mths before he died at 82yrs in 1958
Thanks for the offer of help, any would be appreciated, if you have any more
suggestions, please let me know.
