Subject: [Dyfed] Connection to John & Morris families

Hi all,
I'm new to this list & living in Brisbane Australia. My ggrandparents came
from Pembroke in Wales. I'm wondering if anybody has a connection to either
of the families & can provide any information at all.

1. John John b. around Jan 1860 Begelly Pembroke Wales. Father - John John
(very original) Mother - Elizabeth Phillips. John John (son age 23)
emigrated to Aust. from Plymouth 12 Apr 1883 aboard the Quetta with his
brother Robert (age 16).
On his Aust. marriage certificate it shows the witnesses are a Thomas John &
James John. Haven't traced them as yet or know who they are.

2. Jane Morris b. 22 Aug 1859 Manorbier Pembroke Wales
Father - James Morris a Quarryman. Mother - Martha Thomas. Jane emigrated to
Australia from London aboard the Almora on 11 Jan 1887. I have no other
information on their Welsh life.

I'm hoping somebody out there may be a cousin of mine & can help. Thanks in
advance.

John Schrader
