I have now had time to digest all that wonderful information, thank
you.

You found, in the 1891 census

Albert Street, Haverfordwest St Thgomas
Jane Richards head, widow,52, baker born Rudbaxton
William Richards father in law, widower 81 or 87 born Camrose.

"My" Jane was not a widow in 1901, so I think this lady must be the widow
of one of James' brothers, possibly the Thomas who was 8 months old in 1851.
I'm pretty sure that this William is James Richard's father. I shall have to
go and look at Albert Street. I had a look at the IGI, what a huge number of
Richards's there are.
