Subject: [Dyfed] Miners early 1900's
Date: Thu, 24 Jun 2010 19:53:11 +0100
Not Dyfed specifically, but I wonder if anyone knows how I'd find out which mine my great grandfather and his brother would have worked at. I only know they were both miners in the 1920's. They were both born in Pembrokeshire but Great Grandfather is described as a miner on my grandfather's birth certificate and his brother apparently lost a leg in a mining accident.
There are also a few more distant relations who apparently worked at mines.
Any help appreciated.
Many thanks
