You have confused Jan Cornelise Buys who was adopted by his uncle Jan
Jansen Damen, with my ancestor Jan Cornelise Damen. It was Jan
Cornelise Damen who married Sophia/Fytie (not Tytie) Martens and had
Risjen (not Russia) who md. Pieter Van Aken

These are the wrong parents for Jan Cornelise Damen who was the
father of Risjen Damen.

His parents are not known. If you missed my first posts to this list
on the Damen family I will be happy to send them to you privately

It's a confusing family to follow (aren't they all!) and you must be
very careful to not mix up the two individuals Jan Cornelise Buys who
used the surname Damen interchangeably with Buys, and had three
wives, and Jan Cornelise Damen who md. Sophia Martens
