Lorine and Bob,

I read with interest your communcations about the Van Schaick family in New
Utrecht and coming from Bunnick.

While you discuss people who arrived earlier, 1630, in the area, my Van
Deventers, Jan Pietersze arrived with his wife Maria as attested to by the
DRC records indicating that they had a letter of transmittal from their
church in Bunnick.

I was wondering what you know of the area and the migration of people from
that region of the Netherlands to New Utrecht.

I travelled through the area recently and one would never know it was
farmland at one time... (-:
