Dear Researcher Friends,
During an interesting exchange about the family of Phillip TUNISON,
I noted
a VAN FLEET entry the other day:
> >
> > 1 Phillip Tunison b. 24 Jul 1720 d. 09 Mar 1777
> > 2 Abraham P. Tunison b. circa 1763 d. 09 Nov 1841
> > 3 John Tunison b. 25 Jul 1788
> > m. 22 Sep 1819 Rebecca Van Duyn
> > m. 19 Nov 1831 Rebecca Q. VAN FLEET

Can anyone give me the parents and grandparents of Rebecca Q. VAN
FLEET?
Does her line go back, perhaps, to either Jan or Dirck, sons of Adrian
Gerritsen and Agatha Jans Spruyt VAN VLIET?
With the scant post-Kentucky Derby wherewithal at my command, I'd
bet on Dirck's line, whose members seem to have migrated heavily to New
Jersey, rather than Jan's folks who (except for Jan, Jr.'s son,
Frederick) seem to have hung around Ulster & Orange Counties in NY. (I
apologize to all English teachers I ever had for the length and
convolutions of the preceding sentence.)
And I'll be very grateful for any and all help.
