Hello:
I was just reading Wednesday's message about the
possibility of a WINANS being related to Anneke JANS,
and WINANS is one of my primary families (comes to
my mother's mother). Can the person with the knowledge
please tell me which WINANS leads to Anneke JANS? My
husband already has descendancy from Anneke JANS, and
it would be nice if I could prove such a descendancy,
too.

Briefly, I descend from Jan/John(1) WINANS and Susannah
(MELYN) in this way:
(2) John WINANS and Remember (BALDWIN?);
(3) Lewis WINANS and Lydia KELSEY;
(4) John WINANS and Sarah PRYOR;
(5) Lewis WINANS and Lydia WINANS (1st cousins; her
parents were Benjamin WINANS & Mary SUTTON);
(6) Moses Pryor WINANS and Susan SIMMONS;
(7) David Clark WINANS and Mary Marjorie HASLER/HOSLER;
(8) my grandmother, Anna Kathryn WINANS b 14 Feb 1873,
Springville, Linn Co, IA.
