Sorry but the story about the kidnapping to Canada is probably just that - a
good story! The Zabriskie articles are quite good on Hendrick Martensen and
there is also some material on his daughter, Jannetje (your ancestor). I am a
descendant of his son, Teunis Hendricksen.
