I couldn't wait for Howard or Donna's response <g> - this is what
Janet T. Riemer, in her excellent "The Early Spier Family" in The
Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey Vol. 55, # 1, Jan. 1980 tells us:

Teunis SPIER, s/o Hendrick SPIER & Sara DEY, probably married
Catlyntje Ouke. His will, dated 7 June 1784 at Acquackanonk and
proved 21 March 1787 names his eldest son henry, and youngest son
John; daughters are mentioned but not named. Executors Henry Spier
and John J.Vreeland.

Ch:

Hendrick
Lena b 21 May 1748
Sara m Barent Spier
Annatje b 24 Apr 1752
Marytje b 19 Nov. 1754
Jannetje m John J. Vreeland
Johannes b 22 Dec. 1759

My personal notes indicate that Cathalyntje Ouke was the d/o Jan Auke
Van Nuys and Helena Martense Ryerson but my source notes are in
another computer :-(

I show Sara Dey ca 1688 - 1730 as the d/o Theunis Dircksen Dey &
Anneken (Hannah) Schouten

Either Howard or Donna may have corrections or sources for what I
have here.
