Annie,

I have a Jean le CONSEILE (now CONSELYEA),a Huguenot who immigrated on
October 12, 1662 on the ship, the Pumerlander Kerck (Purmerland Church) and
arrived at New Amsterdam in 1663. He settled in Bushwick, L. I. His
granddaughter, Elizabeth CONSELYEA, married Jacobus LOOYSE. They had a
daughter, Maria, Bapt. March 21, 1709 at the Jamaica L. I. Dutch Reformed
Church.

Possibly this LOOYSE is connected to your LOSSE.
