I seem to be coming in on this discussion a bit late, but for what it's
worth, here's what I have on the two Abrahams (father and son). I
apparently missed a post containing the baptism of a Wyntje (at Jamaica?),
so I'm not exactly sure what the question is.

[Riker], Abraham (Rycken; de Rycke)
Abraham Rycken, son of Jacob de Ryck*, m. before 1637, Grietje Hendricks
[Hermansen], dau. of Hendrick Harmensen
Abraham Rycken was b. 1600-1610 Amsterdam, Netherlands; d. 1689 NY.
He emigrated about 1638. They lived at New Amsterdam.
Ryck and Hendrick, the eldest and youngest sons of Abraham Rycken,
assumed the surname of Lent.

* Abraham Abramsen [Rycken], bp. 26 Dec 1655 NYC Ref Ch (wit: Sara
Sanders); m. 10 Jan 1682 Grietje Van Buytenhuysen, dau. of Jan Gerrits Van
Buytenhuysen & Tryntie Jans Van Luyt. He was the ancestor of the Newtown
Riker family.
* Hendrick Abrahamsen Lent (Van Lent), bp. 28 Sep 1662 NYC Ref Ch (no
wit.); m. Catrina Van Texel (Van Tassel), dau. of Jan Van Texel. He adopted
the surname Lent. He was of Cortlandt manor.
* Jacob de Ryck was b. about 1580 Amsterdam, Nerherlands, the son of Jacob
Simon de Ryck. Jacob Simon de Ryck was b. about 1550 Netherlands, the son
of Melchior de Ryck (who was b. about 1520 Netherlands).

Abraham Rycken was the ancestor of the Newtown Riker family.
In the marriage record, they were: Abraham Abrahamszen Rycke, j. m.
Van N. Yorke, en Margrietje Buytenhuysen, j. d. Van N. Yorke, beyde
woonende aan de armen bouwerye.
