Dear Dutch Researchers:
I am trying to find the reasons or apparent relationships between my
Carpenters and Wisners of Orange Co. and the people named below.
I know that Adam Wisner m. Lea Stegh - dau. of Wm.
I know that Ruth (Carpenter) Marston m. Peter Stagg in 1788.
My ancestor - JAMES WISNER, descended from brother of Adam Wisner above
married ELIZABETH RUNYON CARPENTER dau of MOSES CARPENTER, who was the
brother
of RUTH (Carpenter) Marston STAGG.
The daughter: ELIZABETH (Wisner) MELVIN named her son MILAN MORRELL MELVIN.
Does anyone know how the MORRELLS would fit in this picture??

OK -
(Is this the same as Stagg or Stage?)
Steg "cousin" of Cool?? I saw something the other day that said "cousin" used
to mean nephew.
Stegh Adam Wisner m. Lea Stegh (Adam was the gr gr uncle of my James Wisner
who married Moses Carpenter's daughter)
Harlows and Elmendorf names I've seen bordering Wisner and Carpenter deeds (I
haven't worked this out yet).
Morrell is the name that has been carried down thru my family as a given name
and one of the names that I am trying to figure out!!!
I am sending this to you now for fear I will forget to do that. Maybe it will
help you support.
Merry Christmas, Phoebe
