Hello Fellow Conklin researchers...

I found 4 more pages of Conklins from Couch's file that I missed when typing
up the rest. This should be all.

Has any one figured ou what d.s. means by the death dates?? i am curious.

1. John Conklin1, farmer, Putnam County and Yorktown. 1768 Oct 13 Beverly
Robinson mentioned him in a letter as a settler on Philipse Patent. Private
Dutchess County Militia, 6th Regiment, War of Revolution. Will Dated 1787
June 29, __Westchester County Wills; Liber A. describes him as of Crompond.
(Yorktown). He died March 1, 1790. Will names sons Jeremiah, John, Drake,
Timothy; daughters Jane and Abigal; wife Jane; grandson John s. of Jeremiah,
grandson John s. of Ananias Jones. Jane Conklin widow of John made will 1802
Dec 20. __(proved symbol?)1811 October 17 names sons Jeremiah, John Drake,
Timothy; daughters Abigal Forman, Phebe Jones, Jane See and grandchildren Jane
dau. of Jeremiah Conklin, Jane Knapp, Jane and Abigal daughters of Drake
Conklin, Sarah dau. John Conklin, Hannah dau. Of Timothy Conklin and Eliza
Lee. He m. (2) Jane Drake d. 1811. First wife unknown.
