My grandfather's brother Chauncey Hopper is reported to have been born 1879
in "Saddle River, NJ". In some cases I have seen persons where reported as
being born in Saddle River are now recorded as having been born in Upper
Saddle River. Can anyone advise me which of the two places is the correct
birthplace of my great Uncle Chauncey?

Also, can someone please explain this name change (confusion) for me?
