Subject: Douw Beekman (early 1800s) and his cousin Sarah Low

I'm trying to figure out how two people are related. I found
a letter from 1831 written by Douw Beekman to my several
greats grandmother Julia Horton (who m. Samuel Weston),
where he greets her as 'dear cousin.' I've got the Hortons
basically figured out, so I expect the connection is on
Julia's mother's side, as her mother Sarah Low (or Louw) was
supposedly from New York City.

Douw Beekman's father's name may have been William.

What I've pieced together of Sarah's ancestry so far is
below. Any corrections, further information or connections
with other descendants welcomed....
Many thanks,
BJ Hinshaw
