Hi Cynthia, good question and thanks for pointing this out. I think there were two: Anna Maria VAN HORNE, and Anna VAN HORNE. Phyllis maybe can explain this. Maybe, Gerard G. who married the first Anna M. and had a son Gerardus who also married a "relative" who also was named Anna. Can anyone can help me here? I came across different references for Anna and then Anna M. Also,Phyllis pointed out that David Beekman was the child of Gerardus and Catharine Provoast, his second wife per her family records. Also, I found Gerardus BEEKMAN II is listed as having married Catherine P.born 1693 and died 1742. Catherine's parents were William and Aiffee (VAN EXVEEN) PROVOOST.
