Sansu,
ANNA is one of the many feminine forms of the male name JOHN. In Dutch, as
in many European languages it appears in many forms.
E.g. Anneke, Aneke, Annetje, Annetie, Johanna, Hanna, Anna.
I'm sure that a careful search would find at least twice as many, and even
more if Frisian names are included.
