Michael Jans' father would be Jan ______, so I'm looking for
a Jan ____ , probably with wife Grietje (Margrietie). It is
always possible that his patronymic of Jans was really a
surname, and thus I could be hunting in the wrong direction,
but for now it's all I have to go on.
Since Michael married in 1702, I have assigned a possible
birth year of 1680 or earlier.
