Dear Liz:
On page 52 of "The Early Records of the First Presbyterian Church At Goshen,
New York, From 1767 to 1885 ( C. Coleman)" it says:
Register of Members, June 14, 1795
"x * Anna Wisner, wid. of John Wisner, decd.
The "x" and asterisk are defined on pg. 48:
Those marked x are dead.
Those marked * never before in communion.
On page 24 of the same:
Register of Marriages [Rev. Isaac Lewis was installed pastor of this Church
Jany 1st., 1806]
1087, June 6: Stephen Jayne and Sally Marvin.
On page 37 of the same:
Register of Marriages
Sept. 22, 1842 Charles N. Jayne of Florida to Ann Ella Thompson, Goshen,
witnesses Dewitt C. Jayne, M.D., Charles H. Thompson, Sarah Y. Reeve, Emily
Jayne.
No other mention in this volume.
